Hello and Welcome! Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to view some of my work. As you look at my work you might be wondering who is John Beauchamp? Well, I’m going to fill you in on a few details about me.
I am an experienced Technical Content Developer who has been in the field for over 13 years. My areas of expertise fall in:
· Modeling
· Real-time Modeling
· Building real-time interactive simulations
· Creating Materials & Shaders
· Light Mapping
· UV Mapping
· Rigging and Lighting
· UI and UX Development
· Solution Prototyping
During my time in the industry I have worked with companies in Engine business, retail, electronics, other consumer goods and medical devices.
I was instrumental in the development of a new global media style by defining the overall look and establishing the development standards. I also played a key role in the creation of a Media Distribution/Intake system for media workorder automation. These system development changes were brought on from gaining stakeholders buy in, my research of analyzing end user feedback and identifying issues with the current production pipeline along with stakeholders’ needs and desires. The results of these solutions were substantial cost reductions in the overall development of content, greater understand of vendor inefficiencies based on data analytics and a reduction on duplication of content through reuse.
Working with Kaleidoscope was a time I really enjoyed. As part of this group I was able to dive into the real-time realm creating interactive experiences for Training / Learning simulations, Product Development, Rapid Prototyping and Marketing. I also taught myself how to use UNITY so that we could effectively deliver client projects and have really grown to love working in .
My passion lies in creating solutions not thought of yet. Solutions that are not only going to produce the best end user experience but also help out the company by showing them why these solutions will work to their advantage, where there are gaps and the best possible solutions to bridge those.
